Ramon Sarmiento
Ramon Sarmiento
Provost D’Armes
Ramon’s passion for the sport is one that he has had since he was a small child. He tried many sports like tennis, tae kwon do, soccer and swimming, but none of them seemed to be the sport that he was looking for. He had just finished with tae kwon do, when he started watching movies like The Three Musketeers, Zorro and Robin Hood. He had always had an interest in these historic and heroic tales of swords clashing and heroes galloping away on black steeds having saved the day yet again.
As soon as he started fencing, he knew that he had found his sport, and he has never stopped fencing since then. He has since felt a desire to pass on his passion for the sport to children with similar interests. He believes that there are many more people that would like to fence, they just don’t know how to get involved.
